This program offers students international economics and cultural studies courses taught in English and Portuguese. In addition, students may select from Portuguese language courses at the basic, intermediate and advanced levels.

Medical Spanish & Health Care in Costa Rica at Veritas University – Zapote

This program is designed for students at all levels of the Spanish language who wish to increase their Spanish proficiency with particular focus on health care and medical terminology. Students may also complete a course which explores the strengths and weaknesses of the country's socialized health care system and examines the specific health concerns of Costa Rica as a tropical country.

Most courses focus on Spanish language instruction, but there are also several courses designed for more advanced Spanish students.

Spanish Language, Liberal Arts & Environmental Studies at Veritas University - Zapote

This program is designed for students at the intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish proficiency. Students will participate in courses focusing on Spanish Language and Caribbean and Latin American studies. Students will also have an opportunity to participate in a community service program with possible placement in an organization or business in Santiago.

This program is designed for students at all levels of Spanish language proficiency. Students will select two courses in: Spanish language, Quechua, history, literature and culture.

Spanish Language & Peruvian Culture - Universidad del Pacífico - Lima

The ISA Lima Summer program is designed for students at the advanced and intermediate Spanish language levels. Intermediate students will take two courses which are grammar, culture and conversation based. Advanced students will have the option of choosing two out of three courses to take during this summer session- Advanced Spanish Grammar, Introduction to Latin American Literature or Socioeconomic and Political Reality of Peru. Students will live with host families and participate in ISA's exciting summer excursions, including a visit to Machu Picchu!
