Spanish 101 in Colombia

Academics Trip Details
Students will travel to Barranquilla for 8 nights. Students will spend 6 nights in Barranquilla and 3 nights in Cartagena.  Students will take 12 hours of Spanish over the course of the week with a variety of cultural activities throughout the week.

*Students must have taken Spanish 100 or the language placement test.  This trip is worth 3 credits towards Spanish 101. 

*This trip will accept a maximum of 10 students, first come first serve!

Approximate Trip Cost:
Trip cost is estimated to be $2,875 plus a $100 application fee. Trip is inclusive of all meals, hotel, excursions, transportation and cultural activities as well as international airfare.

Note: This trip requires a $100 non-refundable application fee. 

Deposit refunds available until October 30th.

Payment Deadlines:
September 15th: $1,000 + $100 app fee
October 30th:  $1,000
December 7th: $875 (dependent upon final price of airfare)

Note:  This trip requires an interview with the faculty member which will be done via skype. Please contact the professor directly to set up your skype interview.
Trip Details
Colombia is located in South America. Students will be able to experience the unique culture of  by living with host families while on the program. The homes are located close to the university where your class will be. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided by the host family.  A special welcome and farewell dinner out in  is also included.
